Remembering the ICE machine, very fondly... My dad was born 1910 and worked on all the HVAC so fixed every ice machine as well as worked at the ice house in our town. Thank You for your paintings and the emotions this evokes. Wishing I had a photograph of my GramAt coming on the Trailways bus! Any wide paintings please share with us over at the FAA A4B wide format!!! GJ glorijean

About Tony Caviston

Tony Caviston

Eclectic artist painting in oil, watercolor and acrylic, I consider myself an unorthodox traditional self-taught artist. As a purist and value painter with a passion for details and shadows, I feel the need to explore new subject matter, which makes painting everyday more exciting and less monotonous. It also makes for a non-recognizable style. Working with many props I have collected over the years from visiting flea markets and garage sales, I am also fascinated by old abandoned houses, stores and gas stations. Their weathered signs, broken screen doors and rusting chairs left on the porches all tell a story. My work has been recognized with many rewards along the way. I retired early at the age of 55 to pursue a lifelong dream...
